There is a pleasant atmosphere, smell and light in the hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms The corridors and lobby who live up to expectations with splendid antique furniture, sculptures, paintings and prints, along with fresh flowers, rich fabrics and marble floors. The staff is very professional, friendly and creating a warm, hospitable atmosphere that never tips over into stiff formality. In the past we visited hotels like Aman in Asia, Peninsula and ITC in India. This hotel can easily compete with the top. Grade: 10/10

Perfect location for sightseeing, room was spacious with large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Plenty of choice at breakfast. All staff were very helpful. The hotel is a stunning building.

Check-in was easy and staff extremely helpful. We received a room upgrade, which was lovely.The room and fittings were very beautiful. as is the entire building. Breakfast offerings were varied and of good quality. Fabulous location for exploring the city.

Sumptuousness of the room. Made me feel like royalty staying in a palace. Ideal location. Service was exceptional in every way. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast buffet was incredible as was dinner in the restaurant—also like eating in a palace.

Traditional style and authentic feel to this stunning property. Staff were very helpful and accommodating providing plenty of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the town. Breakfast was very good! We enjoyed a Superior room which was adequate in size and very comfortable with a stunning bathroom!

The Hotel is a gem. It is the classic 5 stars / luxury hotel you can find in the typical art/history cities in Italy. Location could not be better and the staff is a joy to interact with: kind, vibrant and helpful. The room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable to sleep in. Make sure to have lunch or dinner at their restaurant, which is also one of the best restaurants in town, offering a modern take on some of the typical recipes of the regional cuisine.

The hotel is amazing and will surely be one of the best you will have in your life it is not just called a palace! Its location is perfect right in the center of things ... the staff with amazing service and especially we will mention David And much more ... a perfect breakfast..really a hotel that gives full value and a perfect experience..highly recommended!

Location of the hotel is in the historic center of Bologna. Beautiful city (!) Beautiful hotel(!) with a lot of history and well kept. In the hotel is also an old Roman street. Staff is very polite, gentle and always on disposal to traying their best to help also for little things. All 10+

After a stressful flight which was delayed, and the airport lost our luggage, the hotel reception were fantastic at a very late hour. They also arranged for a taxi who waited for us for over an hour and a half.
